- Client Profiles: Information you enter about your clients (brand voice, audience, strategic guidelines) is stored to personalize content generation.

- Usage Data: We collect analytics about how you use IdeaThreader Pro to improve our service.
- Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers for technical support.

- Provide, maintain, and improve IdeaThreader Pro
- Generate AI-powered content based on your client profiles and preferences
- Connect to your social media accounts via OAuth for posting and analytics

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data only in these circumstances:
- Third-Party Services: We use AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic) to generate content. Your prompts and client context are sent to these services but are not used to train their models.
- Social Media Platforms: When you connect accounts, we access platform APIs (Twitter, Meta/Threads, Bluesky) using OAuth tokens you authorize.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Local Storage: Client profiles, preferences, and drafts are stored in your browser's local storage.
- OAuth Tokens: Social media access tokens are stored securely and encrypted. We never store your social media passwords.
- Server Storage: Active session data is stored on secure Cloudflare infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest.
- Retention: We retain data only as long as necessary to provide services. You can delete your data at any time through the application.

You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data (see Data Deletion page)
- Disconnect: Revoke social media account connections at any time through Settings
